More than wax in a jar...
How to recognize a quality, hand-made
candle
How does one know if the candle you’re buying is a quality
product, a product that will perform to your satisfaction long after the
purchase? Will you be recognized for your good taste, and in turn, proud
to display the candle in your home? How may you be confident that your
choice will be received as a valued gift? We know that today’s
discriminating consumer demands variety, attractive packages, brilliant,
true colors, long lasting fragrances, consistent quality, and superior
value. Here is how this is accomplished by the candle maker:
Process
Our premium candles are truly
hand-made. We pour each one at a time from small batches and purposely
“mottle” (texture) the wax, to produce an appearance of graininess.
Without mottling, a candle seems paste-like and bland. But with
mottling, each candle becomes unique and alive, ever changing with use
and time.
Ingredients
The wax we insist on in the candles we sell is of the
highest-grade paraffin blend available--made especially for candles.
This is important, not only for consistency during manufacture, but to
ensure optimum burn quality. The wicks are paper or cotton core, and
guaranteed lead-free. We use only the richest dyes, proven to penetrate
deeply throughout each candle. In addition, a special ultra-violet
inhibitor is included to reduce fading caused by bright lights and
harmful rays from the sun. All fragrances are
carefully selected for authenticity and long-lasting effect. You will
find the experience of our candles consistently pleasurable after many
hours’ use.
Product Qualification
Each new product is tested before any are made available for sale.
Wax, wicks, dyes, fragrances, even container shape, all contribute in
some way to the effectiveness and pleasure of candle burning. We
test-burn our candles for many hours, in variety of conditions, to make
absolutely certain that our combinations are reliable, safe, and will
perform admirably over the life of the candle.
Notes: Honey & Me who bought the rights to Carol Endres Candles has
discontinued her Jar Candles
However we have found a small artisan company that does mades
Carol's Candles using her original scents
In Fact the man that
makes these worked with Carol Endres, he gets the scents from the same
company
