In my work as a pattern designer I find most inspiration in the
incessant combination of the tradition and the novelty. After all stoneware is a
material of strictly defined decoration canons. However, what I find interesting
is enriching traditional patterns with modern motives for this may result in a
truly original and unique decoration.
